They're making snow at Killington, and I've already booked 8 days of shooting on snow!  I'm ready.
 
 
I love working with creative partners.  Krista from Vermont Vows magazine asked me to help her create a commercial for her Vermont Wedding Affair event.
 
 
I had a wonderful Monday and Tuesday this week at Kevin Kubota and V Gallery's "Studio Success" Photography Workshop.  I have no plans to change my career, but I loved learning from and working with so many of the great photographers around the state.

I've lived just outside of Killington Vermont for over 15 years, but until a few years ago I didn't know there was a fantastic hiking spa there.  My mom tried the program out last summer and liked it so much she came back again this summer.  While I was visiting her there I ran into co owner Kathleen LeSage.  After a short converstion we realized they would be a great fit for Vermont Spotlight.  Have a look at Vermont Spotlight Episode #2 New Life Hiking Spa.

Just over 2 years ago I was told our tiny local library in Pittsfield Vermont would be closing due to lack of interest.  I was shocked and collected volunteers to re open it.  At the time (and some might argue still) I knew nothing about libraries.

I've been asked to speak at the Vermont Department of Library's Social Media Workshop.  It's exciting recognition of what we have accomplished.  We have used Web 2.0 media and community building to make the most out of out tiny budget and 100% volunteer library.

Ok, attacks is strong language.  Cow #575 was extremely interested in today's Vermont Spotlight shoot with Vermont artists Woody Jackson.  Maybe she saw that our first Vermont Spotlight episode (Celebrating Champlain's 400th) is on the home page of Vermont's web site.
